Divisions

Baseball Divisions

T-Ball (Ages 5 – 6): This age group is focused on teaching the basic fundaments of the game.  The primary focus will be Catching, throwing, hitting off a tee, and running the bases.  As well as a focus on teamwork.

Coach Pitch (ages 6 – 8): This age group is the first introduction to players hitting off a live pitch.  Coaches from their team will be pitching to each player to assist them in learning how to hit the ball appropriately.  There will be a continuation of fundamental skill building involving catching, throwing, fielding, and running the bases. 

Minors (ages 8 – 10): This age group is the first introduction to players hitting off a live pitch from players.  This is also a key development year for players wanting to learn to pitch.  In addition, your player should see a continuation of skill-building involving throwing, catching fielding, and running the bases.  There will also be a greater focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. Teams will be drafted by the coaches selected for this age group.

Majors (ages 9 – 12): This age group some of our more advanced players in this division.  However, if you are considering having your child play for the first time, all of our Little League Divisions focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game.  This division will go through the Tryout process and Coaches will draft players based on those tryouts. 

Softball Divisions

Recommended Equipment

  • Ball glove
  • Batting gloves (if desired)
  • Rubber-soled cleats (for Major Division and below) – no metal cleats
  • Backpack or equipment bag (if desired)
  • Baseball/softball pants, belt, and socks (color to be decided by team and league)
