How to signup to be a coach:
- All Volunteers need to sign up via our registration site.
- During the account setup, you can apply to become a volunteer.
- You will be required to complete a background check at the time of registration.
- All Volunteers must pass the required background check.
- All Volunteers must complete the required Child Abuse Awareness Training.
- All Coaches must complete the required Diamond Leader Training.

Equipment List:
Each coach will be provided the basics of what is needed for managing a team. Below is a list of all of the equipment that will be checked out to the Head Coach. If coaches need any additional equipment or your equipment gets damaged during the season please contact the coaches coordinator.

Majors/Minors Baseball Equipment List:
Batting Helmets, 1 set of catcher’s gear, scorebook, pitch count book, rule book, local league rules, lineup cards, batting T, 1 box of new balls for games, bucket of balls for practices and a gear bag.
Majors/Minors Softball Equipment List:
Batting Helmets, 1 set of catcher’s gear, scorebook, pitch count book, rule book, local league rules, lineup cards, batting T, 1 box of new balls for games, bucket of balls for practices and a gear bag.
Coach Pitch Baseball and Softball Equipment:
Batting helmets, 1 set of catcher’s gear, rule book, local league Rules, batting T, bucket of balls for games and practices.
Tball Baseball and Softball Equipment List:
Batting helmets, 1 set of catcher’s gear, rule book, local league Rules, Batting T, buckets of balls for games and practices.
Coaches Tips:
- Create a practice plan. Schedule times and drills for your practices so your volunteers and players know what to expect. Drills should be focused on fundamentals and skill-building for your team. Create various levels of skills for those players who may be at different skill levels.
- Coaches should be scheduled at least 1 -2 practices per week. Depending on the age group.
- Tball Coaches need to have 1 Practice Per week in addition to their weekly game.
